Our Story
It’s early 2008…
and I am at a wedding with disposable cameras on the tables. As the night progresses, we’re getting into it – we’ve all become paparazzi. The click/flash of these disposable cameras is everywhere — on the dance floor, the dinner tables, in the lobby. This is fun. There’s something about picture taking that unleashes even the most stoic and conservative to let loose.
Weeks pass and I’m talking with the couple and I ask them how the pictures turned out. “We saved one.” Just one? “Yes.” Then they proceed to explain that all the pictures but one we’re unusable – washed out, blurry, poor lighting, etc. But how could that be? Then the wheels started turning. We’re in the digital age. Everyone and their grandma has a digital camera. Why not create something that allows guests to share the images from their own cameras while they are at the event before they go home and the pictures are buried on a hard drive forever. picturethis was born.
From the very outset our mission has been to help preserve and enhance the wedding experience. Since our first wedding in April 2008 for a close friend, we have worked over a hundred of these weddings all across this country for new friends.
We take great pride in knowing that we make it easier for you to relive one of the most signficant days of your life together – the wedding day. So we erect monuments to this day and to your committment to each other so your children and grandchildren can look back and get a glimpse into this special day.
