Janette, from Loma Linda, California, is officially our newest PictureThis licensee. A woman who has been in the Health-care industry for the last 18 years, Janette is excited to begin her next journey in life by owning her own photo booth business.

Janette’s Hobbies

Janette was born in Illinois but grew up and has lived in Loma Linda for most of her life. She enjoys it there but still dreams of living closer to the beach. “It would be nice to be close by so I could spend an hour each day relaxing and getting some fresh air. One day.”

Janette is a lover of the ocean, tennis, dogs, shopping and watching her sixteen year old son play sports.

“One of my favorite things to do is going to the beach and watching the peacefulness of the ocean,” Janette said. “I don’t like going out on boats or anything, just sitting on the beach and watching the water.”

Janette is also a lover of cars and enjoys going to car shows.

“I love cars,” Janette laughed. “I am one of those weird girls who has always loved cars. When I was 16 I had a framed picture of a Lamborghini in my room.”

Why Janette Chose PictureThis.

Other than being a beach bum and car enthusiast, Janette loves business and has always dreamed of having her own.

“I worked in the Health-care field for the past 18 years at a local hospital and at the end of the year my position was eliminated.  After working in a stressful environment with a lot of politics, I thought it would be great to find something fun to do on the side, and that is when I came across PictureThis and liked what it had to offer.”

Janette was first introduced to photo booths during her cousin’s wedding and thought it was a fun idea.

“I was looking at PictureThis versus other companies and really like the Mac touch screen, customizable photo guestbook and open air type kiosks instead of the enclosed version. New San Diego Representative

Abigail is a lover of interior design, tennis, music, and an unabashed bookworm. She grew up in Utah but now lives in beautiful San Diego with her husband Kevin, and two adorable children, Joshua (5) and Allie (3). Having two young kids keeps her busy, but her family is the light of her life. “Josh is handsome, sweet, thoughtful, and popular with the ladies. He’s my buddy. Allie is a redhead with blue eyes and dimples. She’s cute and she knows it. If we leave the grocery store getting less than five complements, then she’s having an off day,” Abigail laughed.

Owning a San Diego Photo Booth Business

Representing the Greater San Diego area, Abigail joined the PictureThis team around nine months ago and is having the time of her life. She’s had plenty of experience in the events industry.

“Events are such a pleasure to attend, especially weddings.” Abigail said. “We have done a New Years Eve dance and even a High School reunion. We are quickly expanding into different areas. It’s an exciting place to be. Because of my previous experience with events, I knew how revolutionary PictureThis was and was immediately impressed by what it offered. Going to work is fun. Abigail loves being a part of the PictureThis team from start to finish. “I love the whole process. From meeting new brides and helping them plan their dream wedding all the way until the photo guestbook is delivered. I love to be a part of the biggest day of someone’s life and feel like we are making it that much better. The photo booth is always very popular with the guests and the prints make a perfect favor. But my favorite part of what we do is the photo guestbook. It sets us apart from other photo booth companies. I feel like we are doing something important. Abigail also loves watching the reactions of the men. “The guys are hysterical,” Abigail laughed. “The grooms aren’t really concerned about picking out flowers and cake, but once they see PictureThis, they’re like ‘Wow, this is so cool!’. For some, it really is the one thing they’re into.”

Balancing Being a Mom and Owning a Photo Booth Business

For Abigail, PictureThis is the perfect fit for her creative outlet, and for a bit of professionalism beyond toddlers. “I want to be available to volunteer at my kid’s school and be there when they get home. Having a flexible schedule allows me to do that. I have tried other home businesses, and they didn’t work out. They didn’t offer me the balance I was looking for. I really can set my own schedule.” “Don’t get me wrong,” she said, “any home based business still requires work and sometimes it’s really challenging. But PictureThis a challenge I thoroughly enjoy.”

Greater Area of Philadelphia: Meet Liz, Your PictureThis Representative!

Living in the Greater Philadelphia area, both Liz and her husband enjoy anything outdoorsy, especially backpacking, sailing, and snowboarding. If they are ever able to have any spare time, you will be sure to find them outside.

Liz joined the PictureThis family back in October of 2010 with the intentions of just having it as a weekend job but soon found herself leaving her full time corporate job to make PictureThis her new full time gig.

Building Her Own Business

“I am really excited to see what devoting more time will do with my success with PictureThis,” Liz said.

Liz loves interacting with people and watching other people interact with PictureThis products. Liz announced that it’s an ego-booster and that she loves seeing people get excited about her products. In fact, it actually pumps her up and gets her even more excited.

What Liz enjoys most about PictureThis are working at weddings.

“I love working weddings,” Liz exclaimed. “It is funny because my husband is always saying how excited it will be when I don’t have to go to the weddings because my employees could work it for me, but I don’t want that. I love working the weddings because your working at the happiest moments of a persons life. I have so much fun every time I attend a person’s wedding and participate.”

Liz loves being a part of the PictureThis team because she has always wanted to work for herself. As a woman who wants to have both a family and a career one day, this is the perfect opportunity for her.

“It’s fun,” Liz said. “Our photo booths and guestbooks are great products and so it’s easy to get excited about your job. And when your excited about job, it gets others excited as well. I thought joining PictureThis would be a great opportunity, and it has been.”
